Our apartment is A-MAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. We were originally suppose to have two apartments, one for the boys and one for the girls in two different buildings. The day before we got on the planne, we got an email that we would be sharing one apartment. It is a two bedroom apartment with kitchen, dining room, living room, two bathrooms, etc!
Here is a picture tour of the inside:
This is the view out my bedroom window and out the living room window. Say hi to the Pacific Ocean!!!
This is the girls room. Cindy willingly took the small twin bed so I got the giant hotel sized bed! The matress is kind of uncomfortable but oh well. There is also very few outlets in this room so we had to go to the store to buy a power strip.
This is Cindy and I's bathroom. The shower is huge and there is awesome water pressure! A perk from last year is that this one actually has temperature control as opposed to our shower in Hong Kong that was either glacial ice cold or scalding I have no more skin hot... (It was in this sink that we found the cockroach...)
This is the other side of Cindy and I's room. With our nice flat screen TV, dresser thingy and desk.
Keith watching TV in our living room. It is low tide outside, so you can see all the mud flats in the harbor through the window. Our couch is pretty comfy. The TV has mostly spanish but we have changed the settings so that it plays English when possible. The WB is in English (Hooray for The Big Bang Theory!!!) but the football network is in Spanish. We watched the first half of the Patriots game before going out with a WPI alum. It was rather entertaining to listen to the announcers in Spanish.
The view when you come in our front door. Cindy and Mario are attempting to connect to the wireless in our dining room and Keith is still watching TV :)
This is the bathroom that is off of the dining room. It is the one that the boys use.
This is our kitchen :) Its pretty small if we are all trying to make lunch at once, but it is really nice. You'll notice the coffee pot on the back counter :D This picture was taken right after we went grocery shopping so you can see our bread and cereal on top of the fridge. The door in the back is a utility closet and has an ironing board, an iron, a phone book and a washer/dryer.
This is our laundry room/utility closet. Free washer and dryer!!!!!
This is the boys room. Its pretty dark...
Wow - quite an improvement from the tiny studio in HK! Thanks for the tour. So you guys will actually be doing work there, right?! Cuz so far it looks more like a tropical vacation ;-P
