The Causeway

When you look out my window, you can see a bunch of islands. The front three "islands" are actually part of a Causeway and have shops and restaurants. On Saturday, we slept in and had a lazy morning. Around 1, we caught a cab to the Causeway. We were going to stop at the new museum which is at the beginning of the Causeway but it is not open yet. We ended up being dropped off at the first set of strip malls with little souvenir shops. There were a lot of Indian stores with all sorts of local crafts. We spent about an hour there shopping.
Cindy, Keith and Mario in front of the little shopping plaza that we first stopped at.
The view of the city from the Causeway
Still love this building! Reminds me of a double helix...
 Bomb partners :D
 VERY noisy parrot.
 Looking down the Causeway
Island number 2 of the Causeway
View down the Causeway looking in the other direction. So pretty! It would be so much nicer on a clear day so we plan to go back :)
The Bridge of the Americas off in the distance.
Ships waiting to go through the canal.
 So lovely and peaceful
Enjoy the hurricane/snow storm everyone :-p
Storm center building over the city.
Me with the city. I'm making an awkward face cause I was concerned about whether or not Keith was going to get my bright blue tape in the picture... I pulled my quads and I have wishbone kinesiology tape all over my legs...
 Keith in the city
Not gonna lie. I'm pretty proud of this shot :)
Storms really darken a 3 pm sky...
Two ships passing each other. The red one on the left is headed to the canal. The blue one on the right just finished its approximately 9 hour journey through the canal.
 Just passing one another!
:)
